Oh man, why does it have to be Canada? Do you know how hard it is and costly just to get a passport in Georgia. Do I need a passport to get into Canada? I was hoping to atleast get this done in the United States. However, if Canada is the only way I could have this convention, then I would try my best to get to Canada. My future sister-in-law lives there. I was thinking maybe Texas or somewhere up north, but not that far up north.

So is GEORGIA completly outa the question?

Then there is the cost of having a convention center or partyhall/banquet hall booked, the caterer, a d.j. cause I personaly want to dance. *L* But Im DEADLY SERIOUS, this is something I am going to put into action. Anyone want to help out can contact me. I'd be more than thankful.

i don't have much desire to visit the states.... but theres one place i gotta go.... New Orleans.... time of year... well anytime but mardigras cuz it just ain't what it used to be and that city has much more to offer then that one festival.... does anyone in here live in new orleans?

Let me assure you, it isn't that hard to get into Canada..*L*.you don't have to have a passport, they suggest you have a drivers license and birth certificate I never had to even show either? *L* Course I have never crossed by myself, its always been with my Canadian boyfriend, but I don't think that would make a difference......and as for the topic, still not convinced I'd go, but if I did, I'm always up for a trip to Canada *G*......

Thanks Red! *S* Well, it looks like the majority says Canada. *sighs* It looks like Im going to have to make it Canada for the convention. Dam, *stomps my feet on the floor and pulls my hair* I wanted it in the states! *LOL* j/k It really doesnt matter to me, Im just real excited and want to really do this. OK WHAT CITY though?

Calgary Alberta!! in July. they have the Calgary Stampede in early July.... and... it's only an hour from the bee-yoo-tiful Rocky Mountains and Banff..... and... i live there

also.... it's only a 3 hour drive to the West Edmonton Mall... the world's largest mall. it has an indoor amusement park, water park, skating rink (year round), and over 800 stores, services and attractions.
